A PREMIER LEAGUE cult hero looked unrecognisable as he returned to his former stomping ground on Valentine's Day.

The ex-footballer was seen sporting a sharp new hair do and tattoos on his arms.

The 46 year old is somewhat of a cult hero in the Premier League and has turned out for Newcastle United, Manchester City, Coventry City, Leeds United and Norwich.

The former Coventry forward made a total of 201 appearances in the Premier League scoring 38 goals and registering 17 assists.

His most successful season was with Coventry City in the 1997/1998 season where he scored 14 goals in 34 appearances.

If you haven't guessed by now it is of course forward Darren Huckerby.

Huckerby was back at Carrow Road filming with the EFL and Ebay as he met the owners of bookshop Books and Crannies before giving them a behind the scenes tour of the stadium.

The Norwich legend then watched his former side beat Hull City 3-1 in the Championship.

His last season in the Premier League was with Norwich in the 2004/2005 season where Huckerby scored six times in 37 appearances.

The forward won the 2001/2002 First Division with Manchester City and the 2003/2004 First Division title with Norwich.
