A thug abused two men in a homophobic assault at a busy tube station.
The yob approached the couple at Bank Station, part of the London Underground network, at around 4.45pm on November 12, 2023. The man then proceeded to follow the couple, before kicking one of the victims and punching the other.
British Transport Police, treating the offence as a hate crime, have today released an image of a man wanted in relation to the incident. A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers investigating a hate crime on the London underground are today releasing this image in connection. At around 4.45pm on 12 November, the victims were walking through Bank underground station when a man approached them and began verbally abusing them.
"The man then proceeded to follow the couple, before kicking one of the victims and punching the other. Officers would like to speak to the man in the image as they believe he may have information that could assist their investigation."
It's believed the man pictured in CCTV stills may have information that could assist their investigation.
