SCOTLAND Yard has been urged to reopen a probe into dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein as new court documents reveal he might have had multiple British victims.

It comes as a witness who claims he saw Prince Andrew kissing and groping his sex accuser Virginia Giuffre said he still hasn’t been contacted by cops.

And the former head of royal protection branded the Met’s decision not to investigate claims against the Duke of York an “obscene failure”.

Billionaire Epstein is known to have sexually exploited dozens of women, many underage, in the US and on his Caribbean island.

But court documents point to abuse during his many visits to the UK.

Lawyers wanted to speak to Epstein in 2016 about “English females brought to satisfy your sexual purposes”.

They also hoped to quiz him on whether he saw Ghislaine Maxwell, a pal of Andrew, 63, committing crimes in Epstein’s presence while in England.

Ms Giuffre, 40, claims that she was trafficked to have sex with Andrew in London aged 17. He denies any wrongdoing.

The papers, unsealed by a US court, concern Ms Giuffre’s defamation case against Maxwell, 62, who is serving 20 years for sex trafficking.

Epstein, 66, died in a New York jail in 2019.

Meanwhile, IT engineer Steve Scully says he has not been contacted by cops over his claims he saw the Duke with Ms Giuffre on Epstein’s private isle.

He is willing to speak to police and in court. Steve, 74, said: “The truth doesn’t change.

“There’s no question in my mind I saw Prince Andrew and Virginia together and no question that he would remember the incident either. He should come clean.”

Yesterday, former head of royalty protection Dai Davies said: “Given the seriousness of the issue and the harm it’s doing to the Royal Family, there needs to be a professional investigation.

“Police need to gather evidence, interview witnesses — not wait for evidence to come to them.”

Spencer Kuvin, a lawyer for victims of Epstein, said Prince Andrew — named 69 times in the latest legal papers — “should come forward, it’s the right thing to do”.
