Everyone is wondering whether Tom Brady will continue his NFL career after completing another season at the top level, but it's a question he's sick of being asked.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the play-offs this year but fell at the first hurdle as the Dallas Cowboys overpowered them on Wild Card Weekend. Many wondered if it would be the last appearance in the NFL for Brady, while others are speculating where he may be for the start of the new season.

But it sounds like even Brady doesn't know, after he was quizzed on his own Lets Go Podcast about the immediate future. Although clearly having a joke with his co-hosts, you could sense the frustration as the 45-year-old claimed he didn't know what he was going to do.

Whatever Brady does will be respected by all parties involved, with the greatest to ever do it in a position of freedom. The Buccaneers want him to remain in Tampa, while it's likely he already has proposals on the table from elsewhere.

Should he retire, it's likely he has huge offers to join broadcasting teams who are all desperate to land the star and seek his opinions. However, should Brady decide he wants to put his feet up for a while, he has the facilities to do that too.

But it's a decision that's probably eating away at him everyday, and claims he's taking it 'one day at a time' is certainly true given his latest response. Brady was asked by Jim Gray on the Lets Go Podcast if he had any idea what he was going to do regarding his football career, and even if his response was meant to be a parody, it got a little awkward.

"Jim, if I had any idea what I was going to f****** do, I would've f****** done it," Brady replied. "Okay? I'm taking it a day at a time."

Gray then responded: "I sense you're antagonised by the question, it's only the question that everybody wants to hear!" And it led Brady to say: "You're scratching, but I appreciate you asking, thank you."

The 45-year-old can certainly still play, whether it be at his best level or not. But he already retired last year, before quickly going back on his original decision.

Brady has clearly been rather indecisive for some time, and that's understandable given the weight of the situation. It can't be easy having the greatest legacy in the NFL, and all eyes being pinned on you for a decision that you don't even want to make.
