The Toffees are set to move into their brand-new home in time for the 2025-26 season.

But the Bramley-Moore Dock ground remains on course to be completed by the end of this calendar year.

The turnstiles are already in place and a giant Dortmund-like 'wall' is being created at one end.

Now the latest images are whetting the appetite of Everton supporters counting down the days to get inside and watch their beloved team.

Aerial shots of the 52,888-seater venue make for spectacular viewing - and show progress is going well.

The snaps taken from the air reveal the roof of the infrastructure is virtually complete, with plenty of the seats seemingly in place.

Building work and construction continues on the outside, as machinery and cranes remain on site.

On Tuesday, the official Everton Stadium Twitter account told followers the first steel sections for the curved edges of the roof were in transit ahead of installation.

And breathtaking pics taken from over the River Mersey at dusk gave fans a glimpse of what to expect when arriving for night matches under the lights.

One fan said: "Sensational."

Another wrote: "Please tell me there’ll be royal blue neon lighting running round the roof so she can be seen for miles on the river!!"

A third added: "I hope this ice-cool lighting will stay once the stadium is fully constructed. Don't think any stadium can beat it."

And a final user simply replied: "Wow."

Everton are splashing out £500million on the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium to replace Goodison Park, the first major football stadium built in England.

They have played at their current home since 1892 - with the ground hosting more top-flight matches than any other in the UK.

Talks over a ground share with Liverpool fell apart before Everton went ahead with planning their own new ground.

It is currently being referred to as the Everton Stadium - although that could change as and when a company buys the sponsorship naming rights.

And everyone connected with the club will be desperate both the final season at Goodison and the first at Bramley-Moore Dock will be in the Premier League.

The Toffees, slapped with a ten-point deduction for FFP breaches, are in a relegation battle this season, sitting just one point above Luton in the drop zone - and the Hatters have a game in hand.
