Many Brits might be finding January a stretch when it comes to their household budgets - especially just after Christmas - but there are plenty of great bargains to be had if you look closely.

And Virgin Media has just managed to answer our prayers by slashing the price of its broadband and TV packages just in time for those January sales.

The telecomms giants has cut most of its big products including superfast broadband, TV bundles and both TV and broadband bundles combined - but be quick as they expire on February 7.

The best deal that we have found is on its Mega Volt Bundle where you could save more than £290. It comes with everything you need to enjoy TV and streaming your favourite shows during the winter months for £70 a month.

It comes with M500 Fibre Broadband with Virgin's amazing WiFi Max router, 230+ channels including Sky Sports HD & Sky Cinema HD. You'll also get Netflix thrown in as well as unlimited calls to the UK. It even comes with an unlimited O2 sim for your phone.
