“I was hyperventilating for a bit and they let me go to the toilet.

“I’m not sure what the schedule is after that, or whether I’ll stay in the competition.

"Corrie have been brilliant with accommodating the training and filming.”

She said Corrie co-stars Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe, and Mollie Gallagher — aka Nina Lucas — gave her a few tips following their stints on Dancing On Ice.

But mainly she is hoping to avoid the headbanger move — risking hitting the ice after being swung around.

Mum-of-one Claire said: “I’m still traumatised by Bonnie Langford when she bashed her head.

“Thankfully Colin and I are of similar height so we can’t physically do it, which I’m very pleased about.”
