Ranvir Singh is now living with her son and toyboy lover following the breakdown of her marriage.
The Good Morning Britain presenter has started a new life with BBC producer Louis Church, who is 18 years her junior, after finding love during her 2020 stint on Strictly Come Dancing. Ranvir, 46, and Louis, 28, decided to take their relationship to the next level, with Louis moving into the family home with Ranvir's son, 10-year-old Tushaan - who she shares with ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal.
The mum-of-one recently gave a rare insight into their domestic bliss, revealing how she starts cooking at dawn while her beau, who also worked for Soccer Aid and Come Dine With Me, stays in bed. She told The Telegraph: "[At 5:30am] I try to talk myself back to sleep but it doesn't always work.
"I get up, make a decaf tea and start chopping an onion for a dahl for lunch. My partner Louis is terrible. He always hits snooze every ten minutes – it drives me mad!" The telly star then revealed the family walk their dog, Shmizzels, while she will then check in on her elderly mother who lives nearby.
Her weekends are 'precious', she said, as she gets to spend time with her son. Luckily for Ranvir, Tushaan and Louis share a close bond, and play video games together.
What Ola and James Jordan really ate and did to shed 7stShe became a single mum following the breakdown of her marriage and announced her new relationship status ahead of the 2020 series of Strictly. Ranvir and her ex-husband Ranjeet married in 2012. While no official reason for the split has been given, the host did hint that she had found something incriminating on her ex's phone. During a discussion with co-host Ben Shephard about whether you should check your partner's device, she admitted she had looked at a partner's phone "once" and "found something that needed addressing."
When Ben asked if that's why they were no longer together, the TV host responded: "I can't answer that question but I have always thought that if you ever feel you need to do that then the relationship is over because you obviously don't trust that person." Ranvir has always refused to discuss the reasons behind the marriage breakdown for the sake of her young son.
She told Woman and Home: "I keep my private life private, mainly to protect Tushaan." They share an extremely close relationship, however she has opened up about the "guilt" she feels when her work commitments take over.
While speculation mounted between Ranvir and her professional partner Giovanni during the hit dancing competition, it was indeed Louis she had eyes for. But thanks to their sizzling chemistry on the dance floor, Gio was forced to deny they were anything more than colleagues, telling Entertainment Daily: "Every year there's always a romance rumour with a different partner.
"I mean, even if you don't have a partner there's a rumour. The thing is you get very close when you dance with another person, but dancing is equal to acting. You have to deliver a performance. Each dance is a different story."
He added: "No, no, no no no. I'm single, absolutely there's no way [he would date Ranvir]. We are very very good friends. Every time you get close in a Rumba or Argentine tango with your partner they try to make out a story. So if they think that there is a romance, it means we are doing it absolutely right."
Ranvir and Louis went public with their relationship at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball at London's O2 Arena last Christmas.
