Amad makes transfer stance clear
The future of Manchester United star Amad Diallo has been subject of much speculation so far this window but it appears the winger has made his stance clear on a potential January move away from Old Trafford.
Premier League odds and betting tipsMiddlesbrough have reportedly shown interest in a loan move for the Ivorian but Amad has quashed those rumours on Instagram, stating he would only return to the Championship if it was with former club Sunderland.
The 21-year-old sent a direct message to a Sunderland fan page on social media claiming the only second tier team he would be willing to join this month is the Black Cats, calling the rumours of a transfer to the Riverside Stadium "fake".
EFL72 says:"Amad was one of the hottest prospects in the Championship last season and unsurprisingly has clubs after his signature this time around. Sunderland fans will no doubt be delighted by his stance on a potential move but whether that would actually happen is another story given his current ambitions with Man Utd."
Prem trio chase Plymouth star
London trio Fulham, Brentford and West Ham are said to be interested in a move for Plymouth Argyle attacker Morgan Whittaker, according to Football Insider. The 23-year-old has impressed so far this season scoring 15 goals and registering six assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
It is believed that both Brentford and West Ham have already had Whittaker on their radar as they attempt to strengthen their attacks, with Fulham the latest Premier League side ready to do battle for his signature.
EFL72 says:"You'd dread to think where Plymouth would be this season without the impact of Whittaker in attack. He's been a leading player in the division in a side who are currently at the wrong end of the table - with double figures in goals already. It's no surprise to Premier League clubs after him in this window but you'd imagine it would take a decent fee to prize him away from Home Park."
Leeds' Davies chances become clearer
Leeds are continuing their search for defensive reinforcements this month, with a number of names having already made the club's shortlist so far. And according to The Athletic's Phil Hay, Tottenham's Ben Davies has emerged as the latest name to join the list of potential targets.
However, it is understood that a move for Davies to join Daniel Farke's side this month is unlikely to happen in this window unless changes happen at his current club which would allow a potential loan move before deadline day.
EFL72 says:"Ben Davies may be approaching the tail end of his Premier League career but what a signing this would be for Leeds if they were to get this over the line in the Championship. With both top flight and Champions League experience, the 30-year-old would become one of the top defenders in the division, and would be a much-welcomed addition at Elland Road."
League Two goal machine in demand
Notts County forward Macauley Langstaff is said be of interest to a number of EFL clubs this month. According to a report from HITC Football, Sunderland, Birmingham and Derby and Peterborough are all among those keen on a move for the 26-year-old, who has scored 20 times in 27 League Two appearances.
