Suspicious betting patterns were spotted during Main's 4-0 loss to Lisa Ashton in the Modus Super Series in June 2023.

After an investigation, DRA chairman Nigel Mawer found Main guilty.

As well as his lengthy ban from darts, Main - who held his tour card between 2021-22 - has been hit with a fine of £762.41.

Main holds the right to appeal the decision.

Similar investigations into Prakash Jiwa and Andy Jenkins are still ongoing with both unable to play until the conclusion of officials' inquiries.

But both players could also face a ban if found guilty.

On Main's punishment, a DRA statement read: "On 11th December 2023 the DRA Disciplinary Committee heard the case against Jack Main where he was charged with fixing the outcome of his match with Lisa Ashton Ashton, played on 9th June 2023 in the Modus Super Series Event.

"The Committee found that he was in breach of the DRA Betting Rules 2.1.2 and 2.1.3.

"On 9th February 2024 the Committee has released its decision on sanction.

"Jack Main has been suspended from attending or competing in DRA governed events until 31st December 2025 and to pay £762.41 in costs.

"He has the right to appeal the decision of the Disciplinary Committee."

Ashton, 53, is not set to face any punishment.

Late last year, a DRA statement confirmed: "There is no suggestion that Lisa Ashton was involved in any way."
