A first-time mum has discovered she is pregnant with two sets of identical twins - at the same time.
Ebony Apps, 23, and her partner, Jayden, 21, are expecting an extremely rare set of quadruplets. The couple were initially told that they were expecting twins at their first scan, and Ebony was already worried about how they would cope as they lived in a one-bedroom apartment.
However at their next scan, it was revealed to them that there were two babies in each of the sacs - meaning that Ebony is expecting to give birth to four babies in a matter of weeks.
The 23-year-old was in total disbelief when she was told the news, after having suffered two miscarriages before this pregnancy.
She said: "I almost passed out when we found out there were four and Jayden had no words. There's nothing that could prepare you for that news.

One of the nurses at our hospital said she had never seen a woman pregnant with two sets of identical twins during her 30-year career."
Ebony and Jayden, from Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia, were trying for a baby and discovered she was pregnant in September last year. After previously suffering two losses, Ebony was over the moon to be pregnant again.
The couple went for their first ultrasound where Ebony says that they were told they were expecting twins. She explains that they were shocked and worried about how they would cope with two babies as they lived in a small one-bedroom apartment.
Their second scan on 26 October revealed there were two babies in each of the sacs. This meant that Ebony's pregnancy was extremely rare - as she was not only expecting quadruplets, but they were also two sets of identical twins.
She says that she couldn't believe what she was hearing when they were told there were four babies, and she almost passed out, adding that her partner was also lost for words and didn't say anything at all.
After getting over the initial shock of the news, the 23-year-old says that her quadruplet pregnancy has been going smoothly so far.
The babies should be due in June, however, due to the nature of the pregnancy, she had a planned C-section scheduled for April.
Ebony said: "Considering we found out that we are having four babies rather than just the one that we thought we would have, everything is going smoothly and working out.
"We are moving into a new house next week and we are in the process of getting a bigger car too.
"I'm feeling pretty good about everything, but I am still really nervous about the birth. However, as I am a first-time mum, I don't know any difference between carrying one baby or carrying four. Our doctor told us that quadruplet pregnancies are around one in 700,000, and being pregnant with two sets of identical twins is even more rare."

"When we first found out the news, we both went into a state of utter shock and we were so worried about how we would care and provide for four newborns, but I know that we will manage it.
"We have our gender reveal coming up in the next few weeks, and I am so excited to find out what we're having. It'll be nice to know what I am growing."
