"Most Freevee titles are expected to move directly onto Amazon Prime Video."

Amazon announced it would set aside the platform after they decided to streamline their products with the successful launch of the advert-supported Amazon Prime.

In November 2022, production company Freemantle and Amazon Freevee previously reached a deal to bring back the hit Australian soap.

The new episodes would be available to stream for free in the UK and the US specifically on the new platform from the second half of 2023 after production restarted.

At the time it was thought the show would be produced for at least two years after the green-light was given to over 200 episodes of the show.

Previously many legendary cast members returned to Ramsay Street to say farewell to the beloved TV series.

Viewers were delighted as Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan reprised their roles as Charlene and Scott Robinson respectively.

Mildred Pierce actor Guy Pierce started his career playing Mike Young in the soap and the Golden Globe nominee also returned alongside his co-stars.
