JAMES Haskell is "in advanced talks" to star in Celebrity Big Brother after his split from wife Chloe Madeley.
The former rugby star has linked up with ITV show bosses and been "really open" in his dialogues, it has been reported.
James, 38, and Chloe, 36, confirmed their break-up in an emotional statement in October.
Yet it revealed the couple - who married in 2018 and share daughter Bodhi - had called time on their partnership the month before.
Now he is a name in the frame for ITV's Celebrity Big Brother re-boot due to his "great character" according to The Mirror.

A source told the publication: "He's also single after splitting from Chloe, and he was really open about that in his meeting.
"Bosses think that openness would be fantastic for the show, and people would really warm to him.
"He is also not afraid to call a spade a spade and will speak his mind, which was another characteristic that really appealed to the bookers."
James may be single but he sent the rumour mill swirling when he was spotted cosying up to a mystery woman recently.
Shortly after, Chloe clapped back and told a fan she is "boy crazy" but "doesn't date."
The couple first sparked break-up rumours when PT Chloe stepped out band-free on a night out in London.
In October, The Sun exclusively revealed how Chloe had ditched her wedding ring when James was spotted chatting to a different mystery blonde.
In his statement on their split, James wrote: "It's with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done.
“My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won't be commenting any further.”
Chloe added in her own social media announcement: "James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.

"We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.
"Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.
"Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love."
The pair have been co-parenting Bodhi but now the former England sports star is set to leave the family home.
Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's daughter Chloe told the Loose Women panel of the upcoming switch-up, which will see her move into James' new place for a week to help their little girl settle.
