Truett Cathy may have ruffled feathers as a deep Southern Christian man, but nothing negative could be said about the cars he chose to collect.
Before turning his fortune by selling chicken sandwiches, he worked at a Ford assembly plant in Atlanta for over 60 years, which helped foster his deeply rooted love for cars.
After earning the "billionaire" title from his Chick-fil-A franchise, he began to collect vehicles that were not only rare and expensive but had deep historical roots.

Ever the movie buff, Cathy also has a 1981 DMC DeLorean DMC-12 made famous by the Back to the Future movies - it only has 634 miles on the odometer.
He also couldn't resist a genuine 1992 Batmobile piloted by Micheal Keaton in Tim Burton's "Batman Returns," built around a Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 that churned more than 200 horsepower.
Cathy bought one of the three models that went for auction, he'd purchased it for $250,000, though some models were listed on eBay for $310,000.
Another famous in his broad garage is a 1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II that belonged to Eva Gabor, a classic movie star who only put 18,024 miles on the clock.
He also coveted a 1900 Packard Model B, which was the first automobile to come with a storage container for driver's gloves, which later became the standard "glove compartment" in modern cars.
Another celebrity-owned vehicle collected by Cathy was a 1992 Land Rover Range Rover that was custom-built for boxing legend Mike Tyson.
The chassis was elongated and converted to six-wheel drive and boasted white leather seats throughout and red mink inserts.
With a need for speed, he also stores a 1983 Lamborghini Countach LP500 S, which was revered to be a "hero of the eighties."
Bringing his collection to more modern eras was a 2000 American General Hummer Wagon that was customized with a shiny candle apple red color, a bull par, and a lift kit to make it the ultimate off-roader.
