An EV enthusiast who runs an account on X dedicated to sharing auto content with fans of the electric car brand started an interesting conversation on the platform.

The auto enthusiast behind Dirty Tesla (@DirtyTesLa) asked their followers of nearly 100,000 users: "What are some features on your Tesla, basic or otherwise, that you didn't realize it had?"

In the post, the person shared a screenshot of a text message explaining something cool about Tesla seatbelts.

"Did you know that little cutout is a button that moves the seat belt up and down to be more aligned with the top of your shoulder lol," the message stated.

"l've had this car 2 years and never seen this or heard about it anywhere online."

The user who replied mentioning Tesla's handy headlight feature sparked a little controversy.

"That you can adjust the beam of each of your headlights with the scroll wheel on the steering wheel," they said in response to the question in the post.

Another Tesla fan responded with an FYI.

"Only service should do this though," he said.

The user who mentioned the feature told them they've had to do it on their own before.

"I had to adjust mine down," he said.

"From the factory they were blinding people."

Someone chimed in saying learning the information regarding the Tesla headlights was emotional for them.

"Before I bought my MYP [Tesla Model Y], I kept trying to figure out why all these Teslas are driving with their high beams on," they shared.

"Unfortunately where I live there's A LOT of stupid people that barely know how to drive... Reading this was very emotional for me..."
