Conor Bradley has mocked Ben Chilwell in a social media post after the duo clashed during Liverpool's Carabao Cup win over Chelsea.

The Reds secured a brilliant win over the Blues thanks to Virgil van Dijk 's goal just two minutes before a penalty shootout. Jurgen Klopp's side were forced to throw on several of their academy stars towards the end of the game after injuries hit.

Bradley was one of the young stars called upon, with the 20-year-old starting at right-back. He impressed throughout his 72 minutes on the pitch before being subbed off by Klopp for Bobby Clark.

By that point, the youngster had been moved up to the right wing after Ryan Gravenberch 's early injury. That brought him into conflict with Chilwell, who was playing at left-back for Chelsea.

The England international frequently attempted to get under Bradley's skin, with one flashpoint even seeing him shove the Liverpool star. Now, having ended up on the winning team, Bradley has hit back.

The Reds man has posted a series of pictures from the day on Instagram, clearly taking aim at Chilwell. The first picture showed Bradley shrugging at Chilwell, with the caption being 'Special club'.

He also posted a photo singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' alongside his team-mates, an image of himself standing beside Klopp as the manager lifted the Carabao Cup trophy and finally a picture of himself getting shoved by Chilwell.

Bradley was left speechless after the game, having grown up as boyhood fan of Liverpool. He paid tribute to his fellow academy stars for driving Klopp's side onto a famous win.

“I don’t think I can actually put it into words. It’s an incredible feeling and obviously I’ve supported this club since I was about five years old so to now win a trophy with them at Wembley, it’s special and I’m just buzzing," he told Sky Sports.

“Thankfully I wasn’t on at the end because I don’t know if I could have kept my composure! The boys did brilliant and especially the young ones that came on, they showed real heart and they always wanted the ball and they always wanted to make something happen.

"Obviously we were all looking forward to it. It’s a massive game for us, especially the young ones. But obviously it wasn’t easy with the amount of injuries we did have but we’re just so thankful to get over the line and get the win, and get the win for the manager.

“I think it all comes from the gaffer, to be honest, the confidence that he puts in us youngsters. He just tells us to go out there and enjoy it and that’s what we try to do and we’re so happy to get the win today."
