Chelsea have made their love for Roman Abramovich and Jose Mourinho known with chants during their clash at Brentford.

The Blues have endured a difficult two years since the Russian billionaire sold up in west London, with Todd Boehly leading the American consortium who took charge. Since coming in they've spent huge sums but have failed to replicate the success overseen by Abramovich.

Boehly has failed to see the club win any silverware during his ownership with the club falling out of the Champions League picture. During their 2-2 draw at Brentford the away end were heard chanting the names of Abramovich and Mourinho.

To further highlight their emotions the travelling Chelsea fans also sang: "Boehly, Boehly you're a c***"and "f*** off Mauricio". The Argentine has struggled to make the necessary impact since arriving in the summer with the Blues still languishing in mid-table.

Boehly's decision making has copped major criticism with the American spending huge sums on players, many of whom have failed to live up to expectations. He sacked Thomas Tuchel weeks into last season and replaced him with Graham Potter, who had won no major honours.

The Chelsea chief said the club were taking a long-term view to the appointment but the former Brighton boss didn't even last a season before he was axed after successive poor results. Pochettino is now the third permanent boss he's had during his stewardship.

If the Argentine were to be axed then Mourinho is one of the headline managers currently out of a job. The Special One was sacked by Roma earlier this season and has twice led Chelsea in the past, winning league titles on both occasions.

Chelsea led and trailed before eventually leaving Brentford with a point having struggled against the Bees in recent games. Nicolas Jackson gave them a first-half lead before the hosts responded to lead 2-1 in the second-half. Pochettino's side were able to rescue a point courtesy of Axel Disasi.

Pochettino was quizzed on his relationship with fans and said: "I think the relationship is good. If they did what they did, it's a frustration. I am fighting with all my sense to try & provide the team with the best tools to work and improve."
