Ohio-born Debra Lynn Winger, now 68, previously scooped nominations for the Best Actress Academy Awards as well as securing a National Society of Film Critics Best Actress gong for Terms of Endearment.

Yet it was her role as Sissy in huge 1980s flick Urban Cowboy which saw her in line for a slew of official recognition from the likes of BAFTA, Golden Globe and Film Critics organisations.

In her movie heyday she donned a thick crop of brunette locks, often styled with a fringe and in loose waves.

She regularly kept her make-up minimal, letting her sparkling blue eyes shine through.

Earlier this month, she looked unrecognisable as she showed off her natural beauty at the Drive Away Dolls premiere in New York.

Her signature curls remained, this time shaded grey, and she pulled on a pair of chunky glasses to give a stylish edge.

She wrapped up in a check scarf and blazer, paired with a blue blouse.

Debra opted for a hiatus from the film industry after her numerous accolades and award nominations, instead choosing to work behind the scenes.

She made movie Forget Paris in 1995 and then was absent from the showbiz circuit for six years.

Explaining her absence at the time, Debra was candid as she said: "I wanted out for years. I got sick of hearing myself say I wanted to quit.

"It's like opening an interview with 'I hate interviews!'

"Well, get out! I stopped reading scripts and stopped caring.

"People said, 'We miss you so much.' But in the last six years, tell me a film that I should have been in.

"The few I can think of, the actress was so perfect."

Yet she was also the centre of controversy after allegedly refusing to work with pop queen Madonna.

Debra was cast for A League Of Their Own yet is said to have dropped out because she did not consider the Holiday singer a serious enough actress.

During her break, she worked as a lecturer at Harvard University and wrote a book.

Yet she returned to screen in Netflix comedy The Ranch between 2016 and 2020.

Previously, we told how legendary Hollywood sex symbol, Jane Seymour, hasn't aged a day since her Bond girl role.

Nineties movie beauty Emmanuelle Beart, 60, also looked ageless as she stepped out a a variety of movie events - 28 years after co-starring in a hit flick with Tom Cruise.

Recently we also reported how an iconic Eighties band would be reuniting for a gig at Hampton Court Palace.

Deacon Blue, famed for tracks including 1987 debut single Dignity, will take to the stage in the stunning surroundings next June.
