The network is known for producing quality dramas, and viewers have lots to look forward to over the coming months.

SEEING RED

One of the new shows to watch out for is Red Eye, which stars Richard Armitage, Jing Lusi, Jemma Moore and Lesley Sharp.

The drama follows Dr Matthew Nolan, who arrives home and is immediately arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport.

He had attended a medical conference in Beijing and came frighteningly close to dying in a car crash.

However, a dead woman was discovered in his crashed car, and despite his protests that he was driving alone, Nolan must return to China to face charges.

For a slightly lighter watch, comedy drama Douglas is Cancelled is about cancel culture set in the world of television news.

It stars Hugh Bonneville as a news anchor who is nothing short of a national treasure and Karen Gillan as his more tech-savvy and social media aware younger co-host.

The cast also includes Ben Miles, Alex Kingston, Nick Mohammed and Simon Russell Beale.

As well as new dramas, some fan favourites are returning too, such as Midsomer Murders, which is back for a staggering 25th series.

And Professor T, starring Ben Miller, will be back for a third outing.
