ITV has announced a string of gripping new dramas and returning hits in a huge Spring schedule update.
The network is known for producing quality dramas, and viewers have lots to look forward to over the coming months.
SEEING RED
One of the new shows to watch out for is Red Eye, which stars Richard Armitage, Jing Lusi, Jemma Moore and Lesley Sharp.
The drama follows Dr Matthew Nolan, who arrives home and is immediately arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport.

He had attended a medical conference in Beijing and came frighteningly close to dying in a car crash.
However, a dead woman was discovered in his crashed car, and despite his protests that he was driving alone, Nolan must return to China to face charges.
CANCEL CULTURE
For a slightly lighter watch, comedy drama Douglas is Cancelled is about cancel culture set in the world of television news.
It stars Hugh Bonneville as a news anchor who is nothing short of a national treasure and Karen Gillan as his more tech-savvy and social media aware younger co-host.
The cast also includes Ben Miles, Alex Kingston, Nick Mohammed and Simon Russell Beale.
SLICE OF HISTORY
Fans of a period drama should look out for Tom Jones, a four-part adaptation of Henry Fielding’s classic novel.
Solly McLeod stars as the hero Tom alongside Sophie Wilde as the heroine Sophia Western and Emmy Award winner Hannah Waddingham as the seductive and vengeful Lady Bellasto.

Stalking terror rocks Coronation Street as barmaid targeted
Meanwhile The Beast Must Die is a five-part revenge thriller starring Cush Jumbo and Jared Harris.
After learning that the police investigation into the fatal hit-and-run of her son Martie on the Isle of Wight has been dropped, Frances Cairns secretly vows to find her son’s killer herself.
HOT STUFF
Elsewhere, Bay of Fires is set in Tasmania, and this series’s lead character is Stella Heikkinen, a woman whose fall from grace is as
spectacular as it is life-threatening.
Betrayed by her own company and in immediate danger, single mother-of two Stella has no option but to move her young family to the last place on Earth anyone would expect.
This town isn’t the kind of place they put on postcards - this is a tiny
community rife with simmering feuds, crime, and sometimes murder…
RETURNING FAVOURITES
As well as new dramas, some fan favourites are returning too, such as Midsomer Murders, which is back for a staggering 25th series.
And Professor T, starring Ben Miller, will be back for a third outing.
However, the Professor finds himself in unfamiliar surroundings
banged up in prison after the explosive finale to the second
series saw him trying to defend his old flame DCI Christina
Brand.
