JUNGLE MAC (6.30, Nap) is fancied to prove too hot for his rivals on his handicap debut at Kempton on Wednesday evening.

The three-year-old, trained by Jack Channon, looks to have a very workable mark in the Unibet Zero% Mission Handicap after cruising to victory following a gelding operation in a Chelmsford maiden last month.

Despite sweating before the off and then carrying his head awkwardly during the race, the son of Bungle Inthejungle swept clear inside the final furlong once shaken up by Charles Bishop to beat Takeityouremine by seven lengths.

With more improvement likely, my selection can follow up – especially if he can settle better.

At Catterick, Sue Smith's BURROWS HALL (4.15 NB) looks the one to beat in the Best Odds Guaranteed At Vickers.Bet Handicap Hurdle.

The son of Hunter's Light is holding his form well as a seven-year-old, having not been out of the frame in his last four starts – including when winning last time out over today's course and distance.

It was the first time he had raced over three miles and Burrows Hall seemed to relish it under today's jockey Nick Scholfield, making virtually all out to readily beat Accidental Legend by four and a quarter lengths, easing down.
