Katie Price has suggested that a "scumbag" has "stolen" a gate from her estate.
The former glamour model, 45, is understood to live at the so-called 'Mucky Mansion' in West Sussex. The property has made headlines over the years and it was recently suggested that it could be "unsellable". Katie has now suggested that she's been the victim of theft, as she posted about a gate potentially being taken from the grounds of the estate.
She took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday to share a photo of an outdoor gate that appeared to have a part missing. Katie wrote alongside the photo on the platform: "Seems I have a scum bag who has stolen my gate in my fields." She however didn't seem to let the incident ruin her day, later sharing that she was enjoying a meal out with her children at Bill's restaurant in Horsham.
It comes after Katie was declared bankrupt for the second time in March, with her financial trouble reportedly related to an unpaid tax bill. As reported by the Daily Star, her four-bedroom country estate is set to be repossessed as a result. The outlet reports that under the terms of Katie's bankruptcy, it would take "exceptional circumstances" for her to keep hold of her large mansion, which is located in the village of Dial Post, Horsham, West Sussex.
The property is said to have been undergoing repairs for some time after reportedly having been burgled and flood previously. There is also said to have been an overflowing septic tank on site.
Katie Price shows off results of 'painful' breast op as she unbandages boobsIt's been reported that Katie's ex-fiancé Carl Woods had been using the garden as a vehicle forecourt for his used car selling business. Following their separation though, it's been reported that the cars are no longer being sold from there.
The Daily Star notes that anyone interested in purchasing Katie's property in the future would also need to check that planning rules have been adhered to when it comes to her "home improvements". She's said to have paid £1.35 million for the property in October 2014.
Experts have now reportedly suggested that if it was in a better state, then property prices in her 'upmarket' area suggest she could sell the house for double that figure. It's instead been stated that "at best" it could be worth £1.5 million. Property expert David Votta told the Sun last month: "It could be unsellable because who is the target audience? Someone who is proud to say, 'I lived in Katie Price's house?'"
