SHE famously sang about a beautiful island in her 1986 hit La Isla Bonita.
But it seems Madonna will be heading to a different shore as she is lined up to perform a FREE mega-show on Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach to close out her world-conquering Celebration Tour.

A source said: “Madonna is unstoppable and she wants to mark her historic tour with a truly special ending.
“Fans from all over the world are expected to travel to see her perform in what is expected to be an extravaganza.
From tongue scraping to saying no, here are 12 health trends to try in 2023“Her Celebration Tour has already sealed itself as the pop concert of the decade.
‘It’s time to get ready'
“But this concert will be the cherry on the cake.”
Meanwhile Rio’s official tourism office, Visit Rio, has told fans to brace themselves for the big show.
A post advertising the concert read: “It’s time to get ready! On May 4, the Queen of Pop arrives in Rio de Janeiro for a free and historic show at Copacabana Beach.
“Madonna closes The Celebration Tour here in Wonder City, marking her 40-year career with a show that promises to be her biggest yet.”
The Like A Virgin hitmaker will be following in the footsteps of other industry greats who have performed free shows on Copacabana.
Rod Stewart smashed the Guinness World Record for the largest free rock concert when he thrilled a crowd of 4.2million on New Year’s Eve 1994, then in 2006 the Rolling Stones strutted their stuff in front of 1.5million fans on the fabled sands.
Last month Madge celebrated her 64th Top Ten single in the UK after returning to the Official Charts for the first time since 2009.
It was thanks to 2021 track Popular, a collaboration with The Weeknd that has been gaining momentum of late.
Her 78-date world tour of 15 countries was already a feat to marvel at, but it seems the Queen of Pop’s closing gig will be the jewel in her crown.
How to de-clutter if you have a beauty stash to last you a lifetimeJamie hopes for pal Cal
HE is set to brush shoulders with music legends after landing his dream job at Radio 1.
But Jamie Laing has revealed he is already waiting for his co-host Vick Hope to introduce him to her famous husband, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.

Jamie, who revealed on air this week that he took the job without a contract, said: “I would love to meet Calvin.
“I just can’t wait to be best mates with him and then I can say I am best mates with Vick and Calvin Harris.”
Asked if there is a double date on the horizon with his wife Sophie Habboo, he added: “I would love that.”
Jamie, who was privately educated and found fame in 2011 on E4’s reality show set in London’s Chelsea, was met with complaints that he was “too posh” for the job on Radio 1.
He has replaced Jordan North, who has moved to Capital Breakfast following Biz on Sunday’s exclusive last year that Roman Kemp was stepping down from the station.
But Jamie, who had his first demo at Radio 1 eight years ago and presents the hit podcast NewlyWeds with Sophie, said it is a chance to prove his critics wrong.
Asked about the backlash, Jamie said: “Honestly I don’t mind it – that doesn’t bother me one bit.
“The funniest thing is you can go to the bookies and place a bet on me not making it the year, I am like 6/4 odds.”
But Jamie admitted it was former Made In Chelsea star Sophie who pushed him to take the job.
He said: “The opportunity came up and I thought, ‘I have my business so how can I make this work?’
“She was like, ‘You have definitely just got to go for this’. I was like, ‘OK, 100 per cent, let’s do it’.”
And to sweeten the deal Jamie has revealed he has won over his work wives Vick and Katie Thisleton with an endless supply of sweets from his Candy Kittens brand.
He joked: “There are bowls of sweets, sweets everywhere, as much as I can take into the BBC.”
Let’s hope the Beeb has dental insurance…
JAMIE has admitted that he and Sophie were taking no chances with the weather for their wedding day.
The couple said “I do” last April in front of celeb guests Millie Mackintosh, Spencer Matthews and Giovanni Pernice in Andalusia, Spain.

"It was raining the whole week. We planted a sausage and the next day it was full sunshine – the only day of the week, I swear to God.”

Tasha's tamed trolls
LOVE Island star Tasha Ghouri has revealed that trolls have apologised to her after she has called them out on social media.
The Love Island star, who wants to normalise deaf accents, said she was surprised that the users “change their tune” after she responds to their comments on Instagram.
Speaking backstage at Boots Hearingcare’s first ever fashion show, she said: “I kill them with kindness and educate them – you would actually be surprised at how a lot of the trolls change their tune because they get educated.
“I have had quite a few that have said, ‘I am really sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.’ It goes to show that it is just about creating that positive space.”
Kelly's TV gig a bit racy
KELLY BROOK has been off on a “top secret” project, leaving Emma Bunton to fill in for her on Heart radio.
But I can now reveal Kelly has been filming for BBC One’s Race Across The World – with model hubby Jeremy Parisi.

Heart last month revealed Spice Girls’ Emma would be covering Kelly’s drive-time slot.
A post said: “Kelly is off on a top-secret project until Easter . . . so we’ve enlisted one of the biggest names in music to join Drive.”
I hear Kelly will return to Italy two years after she wed there to film a Netflix show at Jeremy’s family olive farm.
She’s sure getting the most out of that honeymoon.
