Footage showing an angry Tyson Fury backstage of Anthony Joshua's second round knockout of Francis Ngannou has emerged online.

The Gypsy King was in attendance at the Kingdom Arena as Joshua dominated former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou. The 37-year-old Cameroonian had previously went the distance with Fury in his debut boxing bout.

Sat between his wife Paris and promoter Frank Warren, Fury watched on as Joshua bettered his effort to send Ngannou to the canvas. TV cameras cut to the boxing champion's steadfast stare following the result

Backstage, Fury appeared frustrated as he looked to depart the arena. The 35-year-old was filmed expressing his discontent with an unkown figure in a busy corridor. "Take it he's f***** off, the useless c***," he said.

Fury was loose-lipped throughout the event as he also participated within the broadcast. While seeing Joshua better his win over Ngannou, it appears that the WBC champions expected an easy night for his countryman.

He said ahead of fight: “I’m going to go wildcard – I’m going to go AJ in the first, f*** it why not! Backing the Brit all the way! Take him on, son!”

Fury dropped a few more expletives during DAZN's post-fight coverage too. He hinted that a fight between Joshua in himself may not come quickly but could be on the agenda.

“There’s quite a long way to go, there’s always been a lot of s*** getting in the way of it,” Fury said. “I’ve got bigger fish to fry, 18 May, then we have a rematch in October. After that, if he’s still available and I’m available, let’s get it on.

“Yes, it goes both ways, he can do what he wants, whoever he fights, he can’t wait a year, inactivity is no good. After I beat Usyk, the IBF will be vacant, so maybe he can fight Hrgovic. I’m healing well, I’m not even in camp yet, I’ll go to camp at the end of March and I’ll spar then.”

It appears that Fury has already riled Joshua ahead of any potential bout however. The 2012 Olympic champion took offence to being labelled a sausage by his rival.

“F**k Tyson Fury,” Joshua told iFL TV. “I don’t like trashtalking people but I heard him say something like, ‘Oh, I’m here to do commentary about these two sausages’, or something like that.

"Bro, that guy that I fought, that he fought, is an ex-UFC heavyweight champion, a phenomenal story, someone who’s changed his life around. He’s just too disrespectful. So forget anything about him right now.”
