ROSIE Huntington-Whiteley leads the women in black as they celebrate Dolce & Gabbana’s 40th anniversary.

The British model chose a sheer gown for the event which was held in Milan, Italy.

Rosie, 36, was joined by actresses Demi Moore, 61, Helen Mirren, 78, and Lily James, 35, at the event at Palazzo Reale.

The designers have put on an exhibition celebrating their four decades in fashion.

Stefano Gabbana said: “Our dream is to inspire the new generations, to encourage them to express what they feel, and give them courage.”

Domenico Dolce added: “We would like young people to see in the artistic professions an alternative, an antidote to banality and homogenisation.”

Last year, Marks and Spencer shoppers were going wild for the new Rosie Huntington-Whiteley floral pyjamas - but they sold fast.

The chain sold a 'stunning' £35 pyjama set that many shoppers praised online.

The Brit Model's collaboration with M&S started in 2012.

Rosie, who has two children with Jason, said she started the line as a backup plan for the future.

She said: “From very early on in my modelling career it became apparent to me that it wasn’t going to be forever, you have a shelf life.

“I wanted to make sure I had some form of security that didn’t just depend on my appearance.

I wanted to use my brain, explore it in different ways and try new things.”
