Amanda Holden made Paul Rudd blush when he appeared on her Heart Breakfast show this morning.
The 53-year-old praised the seemingly ageless actor for how “fetching” he looked in his Ghostbusters outfit when he appeared on the show to talk about his new movie. Getting a bit flirty, Amanda teased: “You look so fetching in a boiler suit!” “Oh, I do? Oh my gosh, thanks!” the 55-year-old Hollywood star replied with a cheeky smile.
Probing Paul further about his Ghostbusters boiler suit, Amanda went on: “It’s definitely for you. Is it comfy wearing one? Is it difficult when you need the loo?” In case fans had ever been wondering about that themselves, Paul put the record straight and caused giggles in the studio as he joked: “No. It’s really...honestly... after being in an Ant Man suit, everything is comfortable! The Ghostbusters suit is nice and roomy.”
“You can have a big lunch?” Amanda carried the joke on, as Paul said: “You absolutely can. You just loosen the belt a little bit if you need to. But there’s plenty of room.” Amanda’s co-host Jamie Theakston cut in to break up the flirting and told listeners: “Ghostbusters Frozen Empire is out now. Paul Rudd is with us.”
Amanda appeared to be a fan of the Ghostbusters outfit worn by Paul in the movie (Sony)Calling it a “brilliant film”, Amanda asked Paul – who is best known for his appearances in Clueless, Romeo + Juliet, Anchorman and comedies like This is 40 - what made him come back and do another one after he starred in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which came out in 2021.

Paul replied: “Well, honestly, I know Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts (the original Ghostbusters line-up). I mean, all of these are the original Ghostbusters and sometimes, you know, it’s such a fun job this job and I am so grateful that I get to do it. But getting to kind of, I don’t know, be on a Ghostbusters set, in the firehouse with the original Ghostbusters is so surreal that sometimes you just go, what a life experience this would be.”
Also happening in the Heart Radio studio today was a spot of life drawing, which saw Amanda strip down completely naked as part of the segment. "What's slightly distracting, Amanda's in the corner of the studio, without any clothes on," said Jamie, before adding: "Which is a first, not for her of course, but certainly for most of us." A female voice was heard saying: "Amanda looks amazing, can I just say." A stunned Jamie went on to ask: "Amanda, can you put a top on? It's slightly distracting," as she was seen barely protecting her modesty with her hands.
