Peter Andre has explained that he was terrified to leave his wife's side ahead of the birth of their third child together due to the fact she went into an early labour with their second child.
Last week, the Mysterious Girl singer 51, announced that his wife Emily, 34, had welcomed their third child together as he called on his social media followers to help come up with a name for his third daughter. Weighing 7lb 3oz, the tot was born at Musgrove Hospital in Taunton. While admitting that they hadn't yet decided on a name, Peter said that they were feeling "overwhelmed" and he "couldn't be happier". He also confirmed that Emily and their daughter were doing "amazing" and that all his children were in love with their sibling.
The loved-up couple, who already share daughter Amelia, 10, and son Theo, 8, are now proud parents to another little girl, but throughout the last few weeks of Emily's pregnancy, Peter said that he was cautious to leave her side given the fact she went into an early labour during Theo's birth. "I have to be near Emily, I don't want to be away from her because she gave birth so quickly the last time."
Speaking to Woman Magazine, Peter also gushed that wife Emily makes him feel like a teenager again, and that she has changed his life for the better, gifting him with three beautiful children and also being an amazing stepmother to his other children, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, who he shares with ex-wife, Katie Price.
"Emily is such a nice person. I think that she's brought that out in me. She's brought me back to when I was 16/17. I had a crazy life, but she's brought me back to a real young me again, which is just chilled, and that's because she's so kind. She's brought me back to how I was in the early days - and I love that," Peter gushed.
Peter Andre shares pride as children Princess & Junior make major career stepsPeter and Emily have still yet to decide on a name for their new bundle of joy but Peter previously shared his favourite names which he hoped Emily would agree with. Writing in his New Magazine column earlier this year, the star wrote: "I was reading about a few baby names that are apparently on the brink of 'extinction', and it looks like the most endangered in 2024 is Keanu for a boy and Flo, a shortened version of Florence, for a girl.
"I really like Keanu. It's crazy to think names could be wiped out. Maybe this will give us some inspiration, but we have no idea what we'll call the baby. Millie didn't get her name for the first six weeks of her life, as we started with Rose before settling on Millie," he added.
