POKÉMON is one of the most popular franchises in the world, and it seems like everyone has played at least one game in the series.

With a huge number of spin-offs, including many popular mobile games, fans can even play Pokémon on the go.

This is why the latest news has devastated fans, as one of the most popular Pokémon mobile games will soon go offline.

Starting from late July 2024, certain players of Pokémon Sleep will no longer have access to their game.

The change will affect Android users who have an older style of phone.

Pokémon Sleep is removing support for all users of all forms of Android OS 7, including 7.0, 7.1, 7.1.1, and 7.1.2.

If you are a Pokémon Sleep player and want to check if you are affected, you will need to go to your system settings and look up the operating system version your phone uses.

It is also possible that you simply need to update your system, so try this before anything else.

If you are on the latest operating system that your phone is capable of, your system will inform you that there are no updates available.

Those who wish to continue playing Pokémon Sleep will need to purchase a new phone that supports a newer operating system.

You can then transfer your Pokémon Sleep data to your new phone by logging into your account and waiting for the save data to load.

It is best to do so before the deadline, so that you don’t miss out on tracking your sleep.

Currently no other operating system will be affected, though it is normal for apps to end support for older systems from time to time.
