Cheryl Tweedy opened up about the 'disagreements' between the Girls Aloud members during their tour rehearsals.

Girls Aloud consists of Cheryl, 40, Nadine Coyle, 38, Nicola Roberts, 38, and Kimberley Walsh, 42 - while fellow original member Sarah Harding sadly died following a cancer battle in 2021 aged 39. The group reunited and is currently rehearsing in preparation for their UK and Ireland tour in May.

They even re-released their 2004 studio album, What Will the Neighbours Say? Ahead of their tour, they appeared on Scott Mills' Radio 2 show to discuss their tour, being in the industry for over two decades and more. When asked about whether they had disagreements, Cheryl said: "No we don't do disagreements, we have differences in opinions."

The women also discussed their upcoming tour and their 'super special' addition to their shows. Nicola explained: "This is our biggest set yet and it is very special and there's a really super special area called the Gift Wrap Kitty Cat area where the fans are sort of inside the show almost because of how the stage is set. And it's super special."

Cheryl added: "It's the first time we’ve done anything like that actually so it will be nice because we can really, whoever's in the Gift Wrap Kitty Cat zone it’s phenomenal, we can really communicate with them, like, close," before Kimberly continued: "They're gonna really feel part of it aren't they?"

During the interview, Cheryl said the group wanted to be 'extra' as it has been 'so long' since their last performances. In January, Girls Aloud delighted fans when they announced they would be re-releasing their What Will the Neighbours Say? album. They revealed at the time: “To celebrate 20 years of What Will The Neighbours Say?, a very special anniversary re-issue is yours on March 8th. Available on coloured vinyl, picture disc and 3CD set - featuring 3 previously unheard tracks from the vault from the original album sessions plus rarities, b-sides and exclusive remixes.”

The album includes another never-before-released track called Baby When You Go and a cover of Chris Isaac’s Wicked Game. Songs by Chaka Khan and Blondie are also covered and included on the album, while a plethora of demo versions of tracks, B-Sides and remixes are also included. Girls Aloud last released an album in 2012 with their Greatest Hits retrospective, Ten - and their last single was the 2012 song Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me.

Meanwhile, the demand for their upcoming tour has been so high that they added shows at London's O2 Arena. They will be performing five nights in the capital city and also performing in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Cardiff, Sheffield, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Birmingham, and Liverpool.
