MARTIN Lewis' Money Saving Expert has revealed how to get kids' toys without spending a single penny.

The financial guru has shared how to nab top toys from retailer Smyths for absolutely free.

Sharing the hot deal on their website, Martin Lewis' MSE revealed that kids above the age of six can get a build and take home a free Lego playset from any Smyths store across the country.

The expert's website added that there is no need to buy anything and parents can get the toys for their kids without paying a dime.

The offer included three iconic building sets from Lego, including:

Parents can visit their nearest Smyths store on Saturday, April 13 where the bargain deal will take place from 9am.

However, shoppers will have to hurry as the deal is only valid for one day - and the availability of the toys will depend on the limited stocks left.

It is important to note that customers cannot book their place at the store in advance - and will need to queue up to get the toy.

Shoppers can find the nearest Smyths using the store's online checker.

Financial expert Rhiannon from MSE advised: "It's best to go early on Saturday as this is likely to be very popular, especially as Lego Animal Crossing was only released on 1 March this year."

It comes after Martin Lewis’ Money Saving Expert website praised a Ninja air fryer, saying it is the “cheapest they had ever seen”.

The Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 SmartLid multi-cooker is now just £165 but you have to use their special code.

Meanwhile, Martin Lewis also revealed how drivers can get the cheapest car insurance possible while enjoying handy added extras.

The personal finance guru claimed that many motorists could be missing out on better coverage for a lower price than their current deal.

Martin explained that some Brits could be overpaying based on a common misconception about which type of coverage is the most affordable.

He told ITV's Tonight Show: "If you want the cheapest, sometimes comprehensive policies can be cheaper than third-party policies.

"Comprehensive is seen as a lower risk by some insurers and that outweighs the fact you're getting more for it."

This, according to Money Saving Expert, comes down to the fact the insurance providers consider that the sort of driver who would opt for comprehensive coverage is likely to be more careful and responsible compared to someone taking out a third-party policy.

The specialists at MSE added: "Because those riskier drivers are choosing third-party policies and, resultantly, are putting in claims, it’s driven the cost of third-party policies up."

Elsewhere, the financial guru has revealed the "secret" shoe stores that are flogging slightly blemished pumps for a bargain sum.

In a newsletter, MSE revealed how shoppers can make use of outlet stores such as Office Offcuts and Schuh Imperfects.

The retailers are offering ex-display shows and items with a slight wear and tear for less than the original price.

The financial pros said: "[They] sell mega-reduced, ex-display shoes that may have minor wear-and-tear – often only minor scuffs and tiny marks after people have tried them on in-store.

"You can think of these websites as a kind of online jumble sale where each pair of shoes is listed individually – a bit like eBay or Facebook Marketplace – along with a clear photo of the exact pair you’ll receive, and any defects will be mentioned in the description."

Bargain hunters can snap up Adidas trainers for £14.45 down from the original price of £85.

They can also shop Nike mid trainers in a size 3 for just £23.80 instead of a whopping £100.

For fashionistas looking for stylish boots, the website is selling UGGs for just £36.55.

All you need to do is head out to Offcuts and browse among hundreds of items.
