Powered by 300W, the clothes dryer costs just 10p to run per hour.

Dunelm describes the dryer as: "Heated to speed up the drying process, this three-tier airer features a vertical design that folds away neatly after use, perfect for saving valuable space in your home.

"Made from sturdy aluminium, this airer has 20m of drying space and is suitable for up to 15kg of washing."

The heated dryer is currently priced at 30 per cent off from last year's price of £95, making it one of the best air dryers on the market.

Compared to Lakeland's air drying model, which is priced at £139.99, with 13m of drying space, it's no wonder shoppers are racing to Dunelm.

Plenty of happy customers have been gushing with agreement, with over 400 of them leaving five-star reviews of the product.

One customer wrote: "This electric clothes dryer is fab. It fits a whole wash load on, is sturdy, takes up little space and dries the clothes within a couple of hours.

"I’m really happy with it and would recommend!"

Another added: "Easy to set up. Just plug in! It takes a good load of washing. Only 10p an hour to run and it keeps the room warm.

"Great buy. Would def recommend this airer!"

While a third said: "One happy wife. Due to the wet weather my wife was finding it difficult to dry her washing, so I bought her this airer.

"She`s absolutely made up with it no more complaining. It`s called an airer but it does dry washing quite quickly. BRILLIANT."

Like with a heated airer, the price of running a tumble dryer depends on what type of machine you buy and its wattage.

The average tumble dryer uses 2,500w so you can work out how much it'll cost from there.

Uswitch's Ben added: "A tumble dryer which uses 2.5kWh of energy per cycle would cost 73p a cycle.

"You could also swap from using energy intensive appliances such as tumble dryers and ovens to using alternatives like heated airers and air fryers instead."

Although heated air dryers are definitely a cheaper alternative to tumble dryers, which can cost £127 a year to run, consumers may consider purchasing a standard clothes dryer.

A standard clothes dryer or clothes rack won't cost you anything other than the upfront purchase price.

Meanwhile, Dunelm is also hosting a whole range of other sales at the moment.

One savvy shopper took to Facebook to share how she bagged a homeware item for £2.90 instead of £29.

While others have shared how they have been able to save an incredible £231.30 on their shops.

You can also get money off certain items 365 days a year through the retailer's "Returns Outlet" page on its website.

Some UK shoppers can nab discounts worth up to 70% off at three Dunelm outlet stores too.
