AN array of stars have descended upon Cheltenham for this year's Festival.

The action is set to commence at 13:30 with The Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle Race.

Football legends Graeme Souness and Ray Parlour have rocked up at Cheltenham Racecourse for Day One.

Parlour, 51, beamed from ear-to-ear as he arrived dressed in a grey chequered suit, navy waistcoat and blue shirt.

While Souness, 70, wore a navy ensemble as he aimed to avoid the worst of the rain.

Boxing icon Ricky Hatton also arrived nice and early.

Posing for snaps, the former world champion clenched his left hand while holding a drink in his other.

Former England rugby star Mike Tindall posed for pictures alongside Royal wife and equestrian Zara as they arrived at Cheltenham Racecourse.

The pair smiled for snaps, despite looking like they wanted to avoid the worst of the downpour.

Mike wore a dark overcoat and flat cap, while Zara donned a similar jacket as well as a blue top and grey hat.

Golfer Lee Westwood arrived alongside wife Helen Storey, with the pair both wrapped up in thick grey coats.

British fashion designer Jade Holland Cooper rocked up in a brown suit, red tie and white shirt. - and handily remembered to bring a brolly.

Action is set to get underway at 13:30 with The Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle Race.

The My Pension Expert Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase and The Ultima Handicap Steeple Chase will follow at 14:10 and 14:50.

And today's action will conclude with the The Maureen Mullins National Hunt Novices’ Chase at 17:30.
