PARENTS are scrambling to get their hands on cut-price children’s school uniforms from supermarket chain Lidl.
One savvy shopper, Kayleigh Penwill, was left open-mouthed when doing her shopping in Lidl, when she spotted a huge section in the middle aisle of reduced school uniform.
We all love the high-street supermarket’s middle aisle, but now parents are rushing to the cheap store, desperate to get their hands on the school uniform.
The bargain hunter mum took to Facebook to share her cheap finds.
She posted the sale school uniform to a bargain hunter private group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which has a whopping 2.2 million members.

She said: “My local Lidl.
“School uniform. I never get bargains.”
Kayleigh shared a variety of pictures of the cut-price school uniform, leaving parents very impressed.
There was a variety of different items that had been reduced down, including shirts, polo shirts, skirts and trousers.
She spotted girl’s polo shirts, in white and blue, for just 99p.
The shirts were once £1.75, so have been reduced by a whopping 43%.
There were also kids’ school polo shirts, again reduced by 43% to 99p.
As well as there, there were boys’ school trousers, again reduced down to only 99p per pair.
There were even girls’ school skirts for 99p and girls’ and boys’ school shirts that were once £2.49, but now reduced down to only £1.49.
Kayleigh’s post has clearly impressed many, as it was only uploaded 18 hours ago, but it has quickly racked up 173 likes and 137 comments.

With a cost-of-living crisis in tow, it’s no surprise that parents were desperate to get their hands on these brilliant bargain buys.
Many parents tagged their friends and partners, asking them to keep an eye out for them when they next visit the popular supermarket.
One person said: “Lidl tomorrow on the cards.”
Another added: “I will look tomorrow.”
A third commented: “Need to go Lidls.”
Someone else noted: “I got 3 packs of the blue polo tops for my son for his new school in sept.
"I was so happy at 99p for a pack of 2 lol.”
