Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have a favourite game that apparently gets their dad, Prince William, quite 'cross'. The Duke of Cambridge has shared his joy in watching his kids play with their cousins but isn't too keen on one particular family game.
During a heartwarming chat at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust back in 2021, the 41-year-old royal spilled the beans about the family's Christmas tradition of playing Monopoly. Chatting to Radio Marsden's Barry Alston, William revealed: "When I see my children meet up with my cousins' children, and they all have a wonderful time playing together, it's very special."
William said: "We love Monopoly and Risk, that's a good game, it goes on for hours and usually everyone gets really cross because they lose but that's what I like playing." It seems even royal households aren't immune to the competitive spirit, with a previous revelation that the late Queen Elizabeth had stopped Monopoly at royal gatherings after games got a bit too 'vicious', MyLondon reports.
In an interview with The Telegraph from 2008, Prince Andrew shed light on the family's excitements and said: "We're not allowed to play Monopoly at home. It gets too vicious." Also, beyond their shared affection for playful amusement, it's well-known that the triad of William's progeny George, Charlotte, and Louis all exhibit diverse musical preferences.
During a backstage encounter at the Earthshot Prize event in Singapore last year, William revealed that One Republic, the American pop-rock ensemble resonates most with his youngest son, Louis. The future king has also disclosed that his eldest son, 10-year-old George, displays a remarkably different preference in music than his little brother favouring more of classic rock's pantheon like Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, the popular hard rock band hailing from Australia.

Upon learning about the young royal's adoration for her music, Shakira couldn't contain her joy and expressed it via X. She wrote: "I'm so pleased you like my music Princess Charlotte!".
