Dramatic footage shows the moment two people were arrested as forensics swept a home for clues after a "burned body" was found in a back garden.
West Yorkshire Police, ambulance crews and the fire service raced to the house in Shetland Close, Bradford, on Wednesday afternoon and uncovered a man's body in the back garden. Officers are still working to formally identify the male and notify his next of kin. A police spokesperson confirmed emergency services entered the property and extinguished a small fire.
A video from the scene showed a number of emergency service personnel outside the home before breaking through a gate. Charring can be seen in the garden of the home, were forensic teams put up a yellow tent. Two suspects were later led away from the home by police. One, wearing a bright orange outfit, was carried from the scene by three police officers. Another, wearing blue, was also taken away. A cordon was set up around the cul-de-sac as forensic teams arrived.
One person in orange was carried away by policeNeighbours say the family who live in the home - said to be a man in his 80s, his wife and a son aged around 20, had not been seen outside "for years", with some believing the elderly man who lived there died years ago, during the worst of the Covid pandemic, reported MailOnline. Locals are said to have heard a man's screams and seen smoke coming from the garden, before finding a "badly mangled" body.

Officers are not looking for anyone else in relation to the tragedy. One local, who gave his name as Mohammed, said the discovery was made after a neighbour shouted a "body was on fire." He continued: "There was smoke coming from the garden but we couldn't get in because the gate was bolted shut.
