Ben, who was seriously wounded by a Taliban blast, said: “Love you Prince Harry but you need to shut up!

“Makes you wonder the people he’s hanging around with.

“If it was good people somebody by now would have told him to stop.”

One Twitter user hit back at the claims, question why Harry should "shut up".

But Ben swiftly replied: "Im saying not everything he’s gone though with his family needs to be exposed to people like me and you.

"If his brother kicked him in the shin we don’t need to know. Do we! It’s called privacy."

Dad-of-two Ben, 35, was in unconscious a at the time.

They met again in 2009 at The Sun’s Millies awards in central London where Ben won the Overcoming Adversity Prize.

The double-amputee had recovered from his horrific injuries to run a marathon on a prosthetic leg.

He inspired Prince Harry - who had also served in Afghanistan - to launch his Invictus Games for wounded veterans.

Harry also turned up to cheer Ben on when he ran 31 miles in the shape of a poppy to raise money for the Royal British Legion in 2014.

At the time Ben said: “He told me to go have a bath and a well-deserved beer. It was just like picking up where we left off.”

Harry’s memoir Spare includes an account of a fight with Prince William.

Harry claims his older brother “knocked” him to the floor and ripped his necklace when they came to blows in London in 2019.

Ben, a dad-of-two from Plymouth, warned Harry would regret his revelations in the future

He told The Sun: “I still love him. I think he is a cool guy.

“I just thought for f***s sake, shut the f*** up.

“Some things are family business.

“Him saying his piece on Netflix was cool. But you have said your piece, you have been paid, and you said you wanted peace and quiet, so go and enjoy your peace and quiet.

“To keep coming back and reveal every detail is a bit silly.”

Ben added: “I do still think that Harry has got to be a decent bloke, but the people he is hanging round with, I don’t know.

“If I wore a sh*t shirt, my friends would tell me take that off, it’s sh*t.

"But it seems he ain’t got the right people around him because someone would have surely told him to hold fire a bit and chill.”

“I don’t know if its Meghan. It must be his entourage.

“He will regret it in the future. You can’t dish out all the sh*t on your family and think it will be cool.

“Why will William want to speak to him now?”
