HERO PC Sharon Beshenivsky’s grave is still without a headstone 20 years after her murder.
There is only a wooden cross to honour the officer, shot dead in 2005.
Husband Paul, 61, had said he did not erect one because he “couldn’t find the right words”.
But now he plans to install one as her killers’ trials have concluded.
Sharon, then 38, was gunned down in the raid of a travel agents in Bradford, West Yorks hoping to net £100,000.

They only managed to grab £5,000 and as they fled from the premises they were confronted by Sharon and her colleague Teresa Milburn who had been called to the scene.
The raiders opened fire from almost point blank range killing Sharon, who had only been a bobby for nine months, and seriously injuring Teresa, then 37.
Six members of the gang were convicted and jailed for a range of offences including murder, manslaughter and armed robbery.
Earlier this month Piran Ditta Khan, 75, was also convicted of murder and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life at Leeds crown court.
He had already admitted robbery and will be sentenced at a later date.
After her death, husband Paul and her mother, Jenny Booth, 78, fell out.
Jenny told The Sun on Sunday: “Of course he should put a headstone on it.”
After the last trial, Paul said: “It’s opened my eyes to the anger I was carrying for not putting a headstone on her grave.”
“Now this is all finished it’s time to release the anger. I want to get rid of the resentments.”
