Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey has hinted she’s secretly tied-the-knot as she referred to having a “husband”.
The 35-year-old actress - who has played Goldie McQueen on Channel 4’s long-running soap since 2016 - is the proud mum-of-two. She has two daughters - with a five-year-old named Coco and a second child named Cookie arriving in December last year. Chelsee shares her first child with ex-boyfriend Jack Molloy, while Cookie is the daughter she shares with a man named Eddie.
Chelsee has been protective of her romantic life and keeps Eddie largely out of the public glare. When she has posed with him in photographs that she has shared online, she has regularly obscured his face with emojis to keep his identity secret.
Now the soap star has teased her fans that she has married Eddie - as she casually mentioned having a “husband” in one of her latest social media posts. Taking to Instagram on Friday, the TV star shared a number of images as the week came to a close. One image showed a delicious-looking meal - with rice and meat mixed together in a simple bowl.

While Chelsee has been restrained when it comes to sharing details about her romance with Eddie, she did give some insight into their journey to becoming parents together when she was pregnant with her second child. She told Closer magazine last July; “The pregnancy wasn’t planned, it’s what I call a nice accident.
“After I did a pregnancy test, I thought, ‘Oh my god’, and let out a nervous laugh! Initially I thought, ‘No, it’s not the right time’. Coco is the best thing that’s happened to me – although a bit crazy like her mum and doesn’t always do what she’s told! She’s so funny, she’s very independent and there are at least 10 arguments a day. So, I thought, while I’d love another child, I’d want to wait till she’s out of this phase till I think about another.
“The support I’ve got this time round is just completely different to when I was expecting Coco. I’ve been a single mum with the support of my own mum, but this time I won’t be on my own, my partner doesn’t leave my side.”
She added: “This is the most supportive relationship I’ve ever been in. My friends and family love him, and he’s the first bloke I’ve introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was The One within three to four months. I’ve kissed a few frogs, but he’s definitely marriage material! In some past relationships I’ve never felt safe, they felt toxic and a little bit abusive, but with him it’s completely different. I just want someone who brings me peace and is drama-free and this feels right. He’s six years younger but has a mature head on his shoulders.”
