Rocker Bruce Dickinson is becoming a heavy metal cash machine with his plane-fixing firm making £400,000 a month.
The Iron Maiden frontman, who is a qualified pilot, has been running aircraft maintenance company Caerdav since 2012.
It is one of 13 directorships held by the 65-year-old, according to Companies House. He said: “I won’t go into the gory details, but it was a money pit for a long time.
“One of the reasons for that is that I was so busy working, trying to put money into it, that I wasn’t there long enough to make sure that people weren’t ripping me off.Anyway, I finally got much more focused on it, because it was costing a small fortune, and we turned it around.

He also flew RAF pilots from Afghanistan in 2008 and evacuated Brits from Lebanon during a conflict in 2006.
Bruce, from Worksop, Notts, lives with his girlfriend Leana Dolci in Paris. He revealed he has recently given up flying.
