Cowboy boots are a must for the warmer months and can be styled so many ways. There are plenty of reasons we believe that the love for this footwear trend should continue, and here are just a few.
A statement outfit, statement jewellery, hat and a good sturdy pair of boots are all you need to take you into festival season and many brands have released some perfectly appropriate pairs, which are not just comfortable for dancing into the night but also affordable.
Here we look at a variation of different colours, shapes and sizes of the trending boot - the likes of ASOS, Ganni, Urban Outfitters and Boohoo are all massively in favour of the cowboy aesthetic we should expect to see right through Spring and Summer.

Save £135 on this luxury Hugo Boss robe that's now less than £35!The cowboy boot trend got one of our writers, Laura McKenna in a chokehold on a visit to The Nashville Boot Company back in 2020. While looking at the masses of variations of the stylish boot in stores now, there is nothing more authentic than this fantastic $180 dollar pair.
With a worn effect on the trustee real leather boot, Laura can't take them off. Not only because they are so comfortable, but are a timeless style piece too.
We managed to find a really similar pair available at Urban Outfitters - the UO Brown Leather Dallas Cowboy Boots, priced at £82.
While brown, real leather versions may be most desirable to those wanting to be in the trend, there are plenty of more affordable variables in stores - we love the black, white and red versions we have seen widely across many of our favourite brands. Boohoo have a gorgeous camel coloured pair, the Tab Detailed Embroidered Western Cowboy Boots, which are now reduced to just £25 (50% off).
Fashion & Beauty writer Shani Cohen wears a Public Desire pair - which we think is the best Ganni alternative there is, and she can't believe how similar they are to the designer alternative. Worn for a night out with friends, Shani confirms they are so comfortable and would absolutely wear her boots for a festival in the coming months.
If you are an Instagram user, you will have noticed that the Ganni Western Boots have been popping up on the most influential fashion pages in recent weeks- and now (at the very least) more affordable brands have dropped some pretty identical pairs for budgeting fashion lovers.
Shani purchased her Public Desire Serpentine western boot with embroidery in red from ASOS - a huge £560 cheaper than the Ganni £625 pair.
For a brighter cowboy boot that would be perfect to pair with a summery dress to complete a Boho look, Debenhams have this lower style pair for £35.99 which could be a staple in any summer wardrobe.
Whatever the weather leaning into Summer, one thing we do know is that - especially for the real leather variations, cowboy/western boots are the most reliable footwear option of the season.
