Around six fire engines and around 40 firefighters raced to the scene of the fire late on Sunday, along with police officers. Two people were found inside the terrace house and pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

The house was completely "destroyed" by the blaze, firefighters said, with half of the roof left missing.
