FASHION fans are gushing over a new Primark co-ord that’s perfect for packing light on holiday.

The “scarf print” set can be styled together as a bold look, or individually as statement pieces alongside neutrals.

The Edit Scarf Print Shirt and The Edit Scarf Print Straight Trouser caused a social media frenzy after Primark shared them on its Instagram page.

Shoppers have dubbed the black-and-white print “super cool” and vowed to nab one of the sets.

Each piece costs £18, meaning the full co-ord will set you back £36.

But according to Primark, it’s money well spent as the pieces are designed for mixing-and-matching and to be worn “again and again”.

This makes them the ultimate holiday staple for light packing - hello, hand luggage!

“Timelessness doesn't have to be synonymous with minimalism,” bosses said.

“If you want a piece that transcends trends while still showing taste, this shirt from The Edit is the place to start.

“Made with a lightweight fabric for a delightfully draped feel, this shirt boasts a boxy silhouette complemented by the slightly cropped sleeves, a classic pointed collar and a button front.

“The all-over scarf style print creates an ornate aesthetic.”

Primark bosses echoed the same sentiment about the trousers, saying that each pair “boasts a timeless, well-travelled charm.

“Whether you're escaping to exotic terrain or wish to look as though you've returned from far away lands,” they continued.

“These patterned trousers from The Edit boast a timeless well-travelled charm that transcends seasons while adding a splash of personality to even the most capsule wardrobe.

“They are cut to a relaxed, straight silhouette for a breezy look and feel, while the all-over scarf style print adds a bold touch and the pockets ensure a standard of practicality with every wear.

“Pair with the coordinating shirt for a luxurious yet laid-back look or style effortlessly with neutral blouses, tees or anything in between to create your desired look again and again.”

Primark is placing an emphasis on its designs to be worn over and over as part of its commitment to sustainability.

To facilitate this, the fast fashion label vowed to strengthen the durability of all of its clothes by 2025.

Similarly, it pledged to make all of its clothes recyclable by 2027.
