Bond fans were surprised to see bookies suspend taking bets on the next 007 as reports emerged that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has won the role.

Fans of the 62-year-old film franchise have been anxiously waiting to find out who will be donning Bond’s tuxedo now that 56-year-old Daniel Craig has bowed out of the role. After years of speculation, reports have suggested 33-year-old action film actor Aaron will be the next star to play suave MI6 agent James Bond.

On Tuesday, Coral’s John Hill announced: “We have pulled the plug on our next James Bond betting to let the dust settle. It will also be the first Bond film to be released after Daniel last appeared in 2021’s No Time To Die - however, no new film title or release date has been confirmed. Film fans may already be aware of Aaron’s film back catalogue - which is filled with adrenalin fuelled adventures. Here are all the details of Bond favourite Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
