Along with his twin brother Joel Madden, Benji is a member of the rock band Good Charlotte.

On January 5, 2015, Benji tied the knot with Cameron Diaz at their home in Beverly Hills, California.
"He's really taught me to value myself a lot more," Cameron said of her marriage to Benji.

Cameron and Benji first met through the latter's sister-in-law, Nicole Richie.
Nicole is married to Benji's twin brother Joel and they share two children together.
