Caleb Williams looks all but certain to be the No.1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft after sharing a moment with new Chicago Bears star Keenan Allen at his USC Pro Day. The pair shared a warm embrace and seemed to indicate they fully expect to become teammates when the Bears pick first at the event next month.

All the talk has been whether the Bears will select Williams with the first overall pick after they faced a hard choice surrounding the quarterback position. They kept Justin Fields last year but then traded him to the Pittsburgh Steelers, showing they're ready to pick a new face of the franchise this time around.

The Bears have been busy getting their team ready, bringing in some big names to change up their offense. They've got D'Andre Swift from the Philadelphia Eagles, and Gerald Everett and Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers, seemingly stocking up on weapons for Williams to work with in his first year.

When new signing Allen turned up at Williams' Pro Day, the pair shared a hug and he was seen having a conversation with the guy who's likely to throw him passes in 2024. Williams said after practicing: "It was great," and shared, "So, I've known Keenan for probably a year now, hung out with him a few times.

"So, to have him here and for me to possibly be going to the same team as him now, knowing him for a year, it's exciting. He's coming off one of his best years. That's really exciting. So, to possibly be able to have him as a wide receiver and coming off his best year and have all the knowledge you can get from somebody like that is great."

The Bears managed to snag Allen for just a fourth-round draft pick, which Williams thinks is "crazy" considering how well he played last season. Allen was amazing for the Chargers, catching 108 passes for 1,243 yards and scoring seven touchdowns.

Allen will join DJ Moore in the Bears' group of receivers. Moore also had an impressive first year in Chicago after being traded from the Carolina Panthers. He caught 96 passes for 1,364 yards and scored nine touchdowns.

Moore worked really well with Fields, but when he found out he was being traded to the Steelers, he posted "business is business" online. "Whoever we get, I'm going to be excited to work with," said Moore.

"Business is business. Nobody wanted (Fields) to go, but at the end of the day, that's what the organization made the plans to do."

It looks like they're planning to bring in Williams, but the USC quarterback isn't acting like it's certain yet. "I wouldn't say it's my full expectation," Williams said to NFL Media when asked if he thinks Chicago will pick him.

"Obviously things can happen. Things can change throughout this time. I think it's around 33 days, 30 days or so until April 25. A lot can change. You take it day by day. And handle and control what you can control."
