Rebel Wilson's shock claims against Sacha Baron Cohen as book excerpts revealed

Rebel Wilson has made a number of shocking claims about Sacha Baron Cohen in her new memoir.

The Bridesmaids actress, 44, worked with Sacha, 52, on the spy action-comedy movie The Brothers Grimsby. The poorly reviewed film, written by Sacha, saw Rebel take on the role of Dawn Grobham, the girlfriend of Sacha's character Kyle Alan 'Nobby' Butcher, and mother of his 11 children.

Rebel claims she was asked to do full-frontal nudity for the movie but used a body double for the scenes. She recently named the actor and writer as the film star she claimed caused issues with her and tried to stop her from mentioning him in her memoir. However, she told fans she "will not be bullied or silenced by high-priced lawyers" as she revealed him as the previously unidentified "massive a**hole".

She details her experience with him in her upcoming autobiography Rebel Rising, set to be released next month. Sacha later released a statement denying the 'demonstrably false claims'. In her memoir, Rebel revealed Sacha would mention how he 'wanted her to go naked in a future scene'.

In an excerpt shared with People, she wrote: "I was like, ‘Ha, I don’t do nudity, Sacha.’" She went on to discuss the one time they filmed at a football stadium in Cape Town, South Africa. She said: "SBC summons me via a production assistant saying that I’m needed to film an additional scene.

"‘Okay, well, we’re gonna film this extra scene,’ SBC says. Then he pulls his pants down ... SBC says very matter-of-factly: ‘Okay, now I want you to stick your finger up my ass.’ And I’m like, ‘What?? ... No!!’ ..." Rebel added: "I was now scared. I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I slapped him on the ass and improvised a few lines as the character.”

A producer disputed her claim and said: "As per the script, which Rebel had read and approved in advance, her character was attempting to put a finger in Sacha’s character’s butt. At no point did Sacha actually ask her to put a finger in his butt. Throughout this entire period, she was treated with the utmost respect and empowerment and was welcomed as a collaborator in all creative areas.”

Rebel's sister, Liberty, and a friend told the publication that the actress talked to them after the incident in Cape Town and repeated what she says occurred. The actress also wrote that she called her agent and even spoke to a lawyer, with the star being advised to continue.

Responding to the claims, Sacha's reps said in a statement: “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby. “

Writing on Instagram on 15th March, Rebel said Sacha was trying to 'stop press coming out about her new book.' In a post shared on social media, she said: "When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, yeah, ‘I have a no a**hole policy, means like, yeah, I don’t work with a**holes.’ I was like, ‘Oh yeah. I mean, that sounds sensible or logical. But then it really sunk in because I worked with a massive a**hole and yeah, now I definitely have a no a**holes policy."

Another post had her alleging: "Now the a**hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book. But the book WILL come out and you will all know the truth." On March 25, she posted a photo of a notebook and pen and wrote over the image: "I will not be bullied or silenced by high-priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The 'a**hole' that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen."
