COLEEN Rooney would be pushing it if she said she was hit by the cost-of-living crisis — yet here she is at Aldi with a trolley full of cheap grub.

But the mum of four, 36, worth £120million with footie hubby Wayne, showed her posher side in Cheshire by using Waitrose bags.

Coleen could have been any mum pushing a trolley with essentials at the store yesterday.

And she seems to have snapped up some bargain items for her and the family.

They include 40 Mamia ultra-dry nappies, priced at £2.99.

But it is a mystery who they would be for with her children, Kai, 13, Klay, nine, Kit, six and Cas, four, all too old for them.

Coleen, 36, also snapped up a 39p tin of Four Seasons garden peas and a 12 pack of cheese and onion Walkers crisps.

Others include Ringos salt and vinegar Golden Wonders crisps and Mamia raspberry and blueberry rice cakes, and also apple flavour.

She also took a quick break to use her phone while outside the store dressed in a green coat and dark trousers.

Coleen has previously been seen in sunglasses and summer clothes while shopping at Waitrose.

Wayne, 37, England’s joint all-time top scorer, is presently manager of US football team D.C. United.

A source said: “The current financial squeeze can impact anybody, as this shows.

“Coleen has a down to earth image and she hasn’t really changed, she still likes to shop for a bargain.

“She looks like any other mum getting stuck into the weekly shop during the week while on her own.

“Nobody is quite sure why she is buying nappies, that’s anybody’s guess.

“It does seem a bit odd.

“But the rest of the items show the family are not afraid of a bargain.”
