Five people were injured when a fight outside a Detroit bar turned ugly and shots were fired - after they had a disagreement over a parking spot.
According to police, the argument broke out in the early hours of Friday morning at Chicago Blu'z Bar & Grill. During a press conference, Detroit Police Department Assistant Police Chief Charles Fitzgerald described the incident as "senseless, ridiculous." He added: "Five people to be shot over a parking spot is just silly to me."
Officers said that the disagreement quickly took a dark turn after a man pulled out a gun, and began firing into a crowd. The victims were aged between 33 and 49 and ended up with non-life-threatening injuries. The police added that only one of the five victims were involved in the nasty argument in the first place, while the rest were bystanders.

It is reported that he left the location in a dark-coloured SUV. Separately, Chief Fitzgerald said that the police force is also investigating why the bar was open at 2.45am, when in fact it should have been closed.

A separate clip showed people who were pushing and kicking a man who managed to get to his feet before he was then punched and fell back into the pool.
The footage went viral on social media, with many people chiming in with what they witnessed. One person wrote: "We just walked into the venue when this was all happening. Not exactly a fair fight with one person being tag teamed by 7 people in the same group!
