A SELF-PROCLAIMED cheapskate housewife has revealed that she saves £1200 a month by feeding her family the neighbours leftover food.
Jordan Page rations her three children to just 14 pieces of cereal for breakfast, and waters their juice down to make it last longer.

The 27-year-old has made massive savings in the bathroom, managing to cut down their toilet paper usage from 300 rolls a year to 40 by rationing it out.
The family, from Utah, USA, live in a huge house, worth £800,000, making it seem as though they are incredibly affluent.

Another of the housewife's money-saving techniques is to knock on her neighbours doors and ask them if they have any leftovers she can take of their hands.
Because of this, she is able to feed her family of five for just £100.
Perhaps one of Jordan's most extreme money-saving hacks is that she has found out a way of baking cookies without any electricity.
The cheapskate simply places them on her car dashboard on a hot day, and lets them bake in the sun.
Speaking to TLC's Extreme Cheapskates, Jordan said: "My kids are total cheapskates.
"They know that we don't waste anything, you eat every bite of food on your plate, pick up every penny you see.
"People sometimes think my methods are extreme, but I don't care, because it works".
