Elsewhere, Paul Strong, Store Operations Manager at Magnet Trade, revealed another genius way to deter flying insects.
“One of the most common summer pests are flying insects including wasps, bees and flies," he explained.
"However, one of the easiest ways to combat them is to ensure food and drinks are covered at all times - these pests are attracted to sweet scents, and by ensuring you keep food covered and tidied away promptly, they’ll be deterred."
He went on to say that in addition, to prevent them from coming into your home, seal any gaps and cracks in your walls and doors.
Not only that, but he also advised investing in string curtains.
"A string curtain to hang in your door frames can be a great idea - they are an affordable way to keep insects out of your home while allowing the breeze in," he added.
