Liliana Orzac, widow of the beloved 'Hairy Bikers' star Dave Myers, has shared that she still senses his presence "everywhere" after he passed away in February at 66 following a cancer battle.

Speaking on ITV's 'Lorraine', Lili, who married Dave in 2011, opened up about her unique grief, explaining: "Everybody who loses somebody in their lives misses them but there's a different layer because if I turn on the TV, he might be on. There are cookbooks in the house everywhere. He is everywhere. It just transpires and rolls on into this beautiful thing."

Lili reminisced about their unexpected meeting in Romania, where she was managing a hotel and Dave, filming for ' Strictly Come Dancing ', ended up staying by chance. Their romance blossomed through emails while Dave toured the globe for his show with co-star Si King.

She fondly remembered: "I didn't know he was the one. It took him two years to convince me! I was running a hotel and he just accidentally ended up staying there, they were booked somewhere else."

"The jewels that he threw at me at the beginning were words. We met when he was on the very first series of ' Hairy Bikers ', and after Romania, they travelled to Mexico, Argentina, Turkey, and India, all beautiful places and he used to send me these beautiful emails about the food, people, the cultures. So I had these wonderful emails about these wonderful trips and it just fascinated me."

"Then we thought we'd meet up and after he finished filming, we used to meet up for weekends in different places in Europe."

Following his tragic passing, Lili, who has children Izabelle and Sergiu from a previous relationship, received an outpouring of condolences from fans worldwide, eager to honour Dave's memory. Now, thousands of bikers are set to embark on a journey from London to Dave's birthplace of Barrow-in-Furness this Saturday (08.06.24), all in support of Cancer Research.

Leading the pack will be Dave's mate Jason 'Woody' Woodcock and fellow actor Si.

Lili shared: "After he passed, I had so many messages from all over the world asking how they could pay respect. People wanted to pay respect and loved him for that energy that he had always. "This idea came to do a motorbike ride in his memory, to celebrate his life. Right after he passed, there was this comment on socials that I picked up on.

This person was saying 'Dave, brave Dave. Dave should be the synonymous to joy, and zest for life' So when we're having a good day we should say 'I'm having a Dave day.'"
